Supporting my mom through a transition in her life, welcomed a trip back to our roots in Japan...

With my grandfather passing, family was brought together and for the first time my husband and 1 1/2 year old daughter made the venture overseas. Although, not a trip for much sightseeing, what else is more rewarding being present with four generations of women (Great Grandmother, Grandma, Daughter, and Granddaughter) walking the neighborhood, eating the food, and spending time in my Mother's childhood home that may one day be just a memory.
